Privacy policy

General

This policy explains what personal data the AUTOAFO online shop collects, why it collects it and how it is protected. Data is processed in accordance with the Republic of Armenia law "On Protection of Personal Data".

What we collect

  • When you create an account — name, email, phone number, password (stored only in encrypted form), and your address, city, marz and postal code if you fill them in.
  • When you place an order — the recipient's name, phone, delivery address, the contents of the order, the amount and the delivery method.
  • When you ask to be told an item is back in stock — your email address and preferred language.
  • When you leave a review — the rating and the text; reviews are published only after moderation.
  • When you use the site — your IP address, browser details and the time of your last visit, kept in the session record.

Payment data

Bank card details are not entered on the site and are not stored in our database. Payment is taken when the order is handed over, and we record only the fact that the order has been paid.

Why we use the data

  • to process and deliver your order and keep you informed about it,
  • to run your account and show your order history,
  • to meet accounting and tax obligations,
  • to keep the site working and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing email without your consent.

Who we share it with

The delivery service — Haypost or another courier company — receives only what is needed to bring the parcel: the recipient's name, phone and address. Email is sent through our mail provider. Data is disclosed to state authorities only in the cases provided by law.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work: your login session, the basket, the chosen language and the currency. We do not set advertising cookies. [Yandex Metrica is enabled for visit statistics.] You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but after that the basket and signing in may not work correctly.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Order data is kept for the period the law requires for accounting purposes. Session records are deleted automatically after a period of inactivity.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to [email] and we will answer within the period set by law. If you believe your rights have been breached, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
